    anyway made some good progress taking another route..... the user can download his 'work' as a zip file and then view it offline in a projector file... which will display the ball at the last position it was at when u clicked submit

    e.g http://www.experiments.flashmatics.c...animation.html

    drag the ball arround to any position u like, and the click submit and follow the instructions...
