Sorry, what kind of computer do you have ?

No one seemed to really complain about the framerate. I'll see if I can spice up the fonts in the next version. Any suggestions ?

I'm thinking maybe drop shadows and glow might be part of the issue as to why it's slow on your system. The collision too... Basically I am doing hitTesting against every ball. I guess maybe I can use the distance from the main sphere as a way to exclude spheres too far away -- and not do a hitTest on them.

If you don't remember a players highscore, why bother having it in there? The first time I refreshed the page I lost my cool 40000+ hi-score.

That's a bit extreme Render. I never have problems with "security". Just don't use IE. Have an up to date anti-virus running ALWAYS. A proper firewall. And NO GOOGLING FOR WAREZ OR PORN. You're pretty safe if you fallow those rules.

I've never had any problems from pr0n , like he said, AVG, WD, Norton, ZA, w/e router firewall w/e. None of that matters if you don't use FF. Nuff' said.

Nice work. I've never seen a game like this one. I like it. Don't know how about you guys but I can't turn off the sound. However, the music playing in the background is pretty mild and easy, not agressive at all and fits the genre perfectly.
    Well done.

    Regards

i like the game concept, nice one
You should add a life system though, it gets annoying quick when you have to start all over for each try.

Nice but was really choppy on my computer (500mhz). You don't need to do a hit test at all just check the distance and minus it by the radius of both circles.

@ Ray Beez: the main reason is that I dont have to worry about 99% of virus, hacks,... dangers. The other very important one is that all AV,FW, and esspecially on windows crap cleaners (registry, spyware,...) eat to much resources. My other work computer (wich is a modern PC) works sooooo much faster without the whole security crap that window introduced.
If I want to test online stuff that require more CPU power I go to the univeristy
