    [GAME] "Changeurs de Monde"

    Hi everyone,

Here's a new game made by the dot-invasion's laboratory ^_^
Unfortunately it's in french, and french is required if you want to enjoy it fully...

Basically, it's another "Puzzle Bobble"-like game, but it also has a dialog feature, and those will influence your current game (for instance, give bonuses or the opposite). Basically your mates will suggest ideas in order to solve your current problem (there are 4 main problems, each one with 3-4 sub-problems), and you have the ability to accept/refuse those.

Of course your goal is to clear the current stage during 3 phases if you want to solve the current problem.

Also, If you register to the site, you'll be able to save your progress, submit and enhance your own score, and level up (this will influence the game difficulty, playing it in "expert mode" is challenging...).

Anyway enjoy, and sorry for the french language

Play the game HERE, and choose one of the 4 big colored boxes ("E", "H", "L", & "C", they represent a different main problem)

Very cool man. I wish I knew French to figure out what type of things the characters where saying. It was fun gueessing to hit the green or red buttons when they popped up.

Yes it must have been hard to guess what Accepter and Refuser meant
"I'd only told them the truth. Was that so selfish? Our integrity sells for so little, but it is all we really have. It is the very last inch of us, but within that inch, we are free."

Oh yes, if you accept a bad idea or refuse a good idea, you may get black bubbles; but if you answer correctly, you'll get bonus bubbles (used to destroy the black ones or make connections with every other color), just throw them with "B".

^ Actually it's a little bit more complex than "bad or good idea", since there are also VERY good ideas and VERY bad ideas... Those influence the way you are rewarded or not...

(also, instead of "to hit the green or red buttons", you can simply push up or down with your arrows. And yes, the "how to play" is in french too, i know )

As I have seen in your other games, the level of polish is so shiny it makes your eyes hurt. And that's a good thing.

I don't know a lick o' French, but I still enjoyed the classic "pop rocks" set up. The whole idea concept is interesting from a developer's point of view, but since I couldn't understand French I wasn't sure if it was annoying like pop-ups or fun...

From what I can tell, it's a game well done.

    Great work! Very polished.

Observation: why does the guy with the white hair in the frontpage, and the guy who shows the down thumb after loosing looks like the character 'K' from the King Of Fighters game series.

Marmotte, I thought "calotte" meant "cap" (like a baseball cap). Does it mean "cache" too??

Well... I think that the concept was interesting, my biggest worry was: "will it ruin the gameplay, make the game too slow ...etc?" I guess it's just annoying (and frustrating!) for someone that doesn't know french, because the Puzzle Bobble part is good and enjoyable enough alone. At the same time they add a little something new to the genre...

No, the characters and the backgrounds were provided. Visually I did work on the general layout, and animations only. Well, everything except the characters and the backgrounds ^_^
And yes, i think that the drawings are really good.

looks like the character 'K' from the King Of Fighters game series
Hahahaha, i got the exact same reaction when i saw him! Amazing...

We use the word "calotte" as cap very rarely.
In this game, the expression is "calotte glaciaire" which means "ice cap" ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_cap )
