Cannot use koolmoves properly - activeX problem

I canot do or play any animation in koolmoves. This allways happens when i have installed IE 6.

    This should be the reason:
Your current settings prohibit running active-X controls on this page

The animation cannot be displayed. Either the web browser does not have a Flash plug-in or Javascript is not enabled. To obtain a free Flash plug-in, go to http://www.macromedia.com

I dont understand why. I have everything and everything works (activeX, java, flash plug-in). I have even set all to ENABLE in Internet security settings!
Koolmoves works fine if i use IE-7. I would like to be able to use koolmoves with IE6 because i dont like IE7. I also use firexof but i think that koolmoves doesnt support firefox.

    I have tested activeX here:
    http://pcpitstop.com/testax.asp

    and java here:
    http://sites.godaddy.com/troubleshoo...pt.aspx?bhcp=1

I also have installed free Flash plug-in.

Does someone have similiar problems with IE6?

It is the local security settings which are relevant to the preview. If you can't figure out how to change those, change Mark of Web setting in File > Preferences > Play

What applies to preview also applies to effects. It is the same functionality. The problem is most likely internet explorer security settings.

But i already set everything to ENABLE in security settings.

Does someone know hot so set IE7 that way that it will not refresh (=change date) my saved url links every time when i click on them. This stupidity in IE7 is really anoying and it is the reason why i want to use IE6.

I agree that IE7 makes it difficult to find any menu options you may be looking for, but this is more of a Vista thing than IE7. Windows Media Player 10 is just as difficult to navigate. Everything was redesigned for Vista, and now everything sucks.

Anyway, if you're asking how to keep the webpage from refreshing every time you visit it, go to Tools > Internet Options and then under Browsing History click on Settings. There you will have the option to tell it how frequently you want it to update your Temporary Internet Files.

I mean, come one! What could be simpler, right?

Yeah, right... That's why it only took me two days to figure this out when I tried back in January.

But be warned: if it doesn't refresh every time, it might not load the correct Flash video when you change it. I have to have mine set to refresh everytime for that to happen (or I have to manually delete the temp file).

What anti-virus are you using? Some have script blockers.

If you use QuickTime install on your PC, you will not display even IE6 or IE7 flash player plug-in that convert from KoolMoves or Adobe Flash 9. I also have the same problem, then I uninstall QuickTime to solve this problem.

    Thank you

You seem to be the only person that is having this problem. So the problem is probably specific to your setup.
