Font looks different in Swish and Photoshop?

I created a site layout with photoshop CS and used the Garamond Font.
When I created the Swish to replace a graphic in the layout, the Garamond font looks different.

The small letter "a" in Photoshop looks like the circle with the little tale at the bottom.

The small letter "a" in Swish has the extra line above the circle part - like an ampersand with the top loop open.

I am very surprised by this since I thought both applications would use the same windows fonts.

I am working on a PC.

Any ideas?

Did you copy the text from a docunent or paste it in?

I typed it in with the font and it is fine now. THANKS!
