10 quick pushups, breath out every other up; then sip on some warm milk w/ honey stirred with a cinnamon stick.

Or, drink some hot tea with no sugar... and think of a more innocent time... lay down, breath slowly and create an imaginary focal point that is outside of your room... and just slowly pull that focal point to the end of your nose, and by that time, you should be able to pull out any errant thoughts and be able to relax.

If that doesn't work... I usually walk, check the doors, the locks, the windows, the computers, and then shut out the world.

besides my typical answer that rum goes best either in my belly or in a glass and not much else is needed...

I'd say go with the simpler rum runner recipe.

but is this dark rum or light rum? light rum, I'd say also think about a rum, sprite, splash of cran, garnish with a pineapple and cherry. dark rum, soco, squeezed lemon, touch of sugar and pineapple juice.

What's funny is that for 4 consecutive summers, I really tried to solve this one. I averaged about 124 for licking just one place where a lick constituted an up and down lick... sorta like DDR RAM. An all over lick though, I hit around 140-180 before I got to the first bit of tootsie middle that wasn't pinched out on the edges where the sucker is the thinnest. That area with a concentrated lick was as low as 36 or so.

There is this meyer's dark rum and malibu coconut rum recipe that I can't fully remember, but it had orange juice with a splash of pineapple in it as well... and I'd call it an one or two drink... not too many in the night though.

And when in doubt, marinate some chicken with a mixture of soy, ginger, rum... split that in half, add honey to the other half and glaze when the chicken is browned... tastes best on the grill with hickory nuts thrown in and served on top of wild rice with fresh vegetables. Also goes well with grilled asparagus, just add black pepper and thyme and add extra-virgin oil to the rum (splash) and ginger (fresh) and some soy... mix up nicely... and grill away. At the end, squeeze fresh lemon, not heavy... and I normally don't like asparagus...

Makes some things funky...

But for superstition sakes... heck yes it's lucky. Just gotta figure out if that's your true third time or if you had a third time the last time you were lucky and you wasted it and then you have to learn the "Luck Reset" dance...
