So, You Don't Believe In Tinkerbell?

Maybe she is just smaller than you thought?

    Oh you poor unbeliever.

This is a swarm of those gnats you see swirling around on a clam day. Shot with the Bigma against a dark background.

Uh-oh. I never thought that you people in the UK might not have these little guys.

But this shot was just to see if I could get a shot of them at all. Little did I know they would end up looking like Tinkerbells when I cropped it.

I always believed they exist because I love fairy-tales...now I know they are real

Thanks Matt and Frex. I have found out on Google that they are water midges. Harmless little things.

...until you row into a swarm of them. I'll bet they don't taste so good.

    Cool shot by the way...

Thanks EV. Well, you might get one in your eye, but at least they don't bite.

Thanks El-Ig. Well, at least it's only the head openings.

Hehehehe need GREAT amounts of flexibility for any other sort of openings, I had a picture of Gnats in my gallery, not very fond of it, but I used a low shutter speed, and enjoyed their lazy lines, called freedom Fighters, the way they were circling the same spot reminded me of the scene in Starwars when the rebellion were circling the Death Star

I did have a couple of images at slow shutter peeds but deleted them. I wish I had kept them now. They were like corkscrew lines of white on a dark bg.

Yes, I have one, but I have formatted the card and recorded over it several times since.

I almost never delete or format a Card before I transfer what's on it on the HD, some times, Years after, I look through them and find pay dirt

still, the weather is warm enough for more Gnats I guess
