Well, you definitely prove that you have a good knowledge of programming, I think this game falls short.

The control is awkward and it just doesn't quite catch the eye. The music is pretty good and fitting. You might consider turning the entire background into a starfield, so that there are stars and all flying past. The background is just too stationary, it doesn't fit with the debri or whatever it is flying at you.
