    Compression & Graphic Quality

    I understand that compression often compromises visual quality. However, even the lowest graphical compression greatly diminishes gradients in 3DFA. As it stands, my site is about 47k compressed (lowest) and about 87k uncompressed. Is 87k reasonable for a flash site? Also, does 3DFA offer any means of graphical compression without diminishing gradients so drastically?

    Yeah, 87k is reasonable, it's smaller than most medium sized photos................
