    move stage or entire movie?

Is there any way to move the stage so it matches up with my movie? If not, how can I move my entire movie at the same time. I have tried selecting all the frames and used the selection tool to highlight everything I could on the stage, but it still leaves parts of motion tweens in the old location.

your best best would have been to wrap everything inside a movieClip..making it a snap to move the whole ting at once.

You can copy and paste frames.. but it is still a long process.

    Thanks for the reply.

Is it too late to wrap everything inside a movie clip? For next time, how and when do I wrap everything inside a movie clip?

start with a new document, and create a NEW, empty movieClip..

drag that to the stage.. and create ALL your work, graphics, objects, code, inside of THAT...

If you have ANYTHING that needs to be more than 1 frame long.. make it a movieClip..

    Maybe try something like this...

Someone else posted this as a tip on moving everything, but I can't find the thread...

Click Edit Multiple Frames below the timeline, then Modify Onion Markers and Onion All. Then, menu to Edit, Select All, and you can drag the entire animation around.

I redid my entire movie inside of a movie clip this time, how do I get it to play in the actual movie though. I dragged it onto layer 1, frame 1 and it doesn't play. Do I need actionscript to make it play?
