Any of you guys host your own sites or run a reseller account?

Just thinking of setting up a reseller account.. I already run a few sites that cost me, say £20, each month to run.

I can get a reseller account for £50 a month, host my own sites there and then sell space on..

Just wondered if anyone else has set anything like this up?

Nah, but on the MT grid I can host up to 100 domains and I have a few sites hosted on a Swiss hosting provider where I can manage another 20 domains. Both are not reseller accounts, but I have a few clients hosted on them, so while not technically a reseller, I use it like one.

Hmm - well that's another option. I just like the idea of setting up a reseller account - cp, payment etc.. all taken carre of by the hosting company. Slapping my logo on it, sitting back and watching the £££ roll in..

    Ah.. if only.

But if I host more than 5 sites then it's worth doing.

Was just wondering if folks here did and, if they did who they use?

I'll be looking for a reseller account with asp.net enabled - Windows 2003 hosting most likely.

Was considering going with Fasthosts who I use for most of my stuff.

We've kept 3 separate reseller accounts on 3 different servers over at Dathorn.com for the last 4 years.
It makes it nice for seo linking between different IPs and easy for troubleshooting since every client is using cPanel.
Their reseller accounts start at about $14 and go up from there.
I don't know if they run any windows boxes or not, but I'm sure you could find a windows host that's comparable.

yes I've had one for years which allows me 50 domains each with their own cPanel and FTP etc for £25 a month, but thats a Apache/PHP server.

slowly converting all my clients sites to managed solutions so they don't need a control panel, then I be moving over to mt.

no clue on asp.net reseller accounts though sorry
and in a blink of an eye...

Btw, as MT was mentioned, anyone else ever had to use the mySQL burst container? They had to move me into one for the second time in seven days, guess I'm coming closer to the grids limit.
