    new fisix engine features in the works

    Hey,

    I've posted in the physics forum regarding the new features coming to the fisix engine, though I think they'd be interesting to the flash game crowd as well

    Wow, very nice. I like the sound of the advanced constraint system. A project probably 1-2 years down the road has me wanting to constrain a single point on a car to a line and allow free rotation and sliding along that line.

    The deformables mimicking rigid bodies sounds like it could find a home in a topdown car game as well.

    Thanks @ everyone for the kind words

    @mr malee:
    I'd love to create a cs3 component of the code library, but I just don't know how. I've looked everywhere, but have found nothing. If you know of any solution I'd really love to know

    @Alluvian:

    That's just the kind of stuff that this constraint system can do. It's a little bit of dark magic, but mostly advanced calc. I really can't say I get all of it, but I'm getting a lot of great assistance from Raigan (of metanet software). Once I sort some things out with the rigid body solver, I'm planning on putting together some cool demos
