    I had a planted tank for a while. Very very tough to maintain. There's a fine line between providing enough nutrients and light for the plants vs. not enough for an algae bloom. Very quickly your tank can turn to this:

    I eventually went to a rock-scape tank...plants were too much of a hassle.

    Check this out, we put some crabs in our tank and one of them latched onto a passing fish on his way down, he was hangin there for ages.

    Ok ok, ages was a slight exaggeration, he was hanging for about 15mins. We also had a sea anemony attach itself to a crabs head like crazy red dreadlocks which lasted for 3 days.
