[RESOLVED] How to stop in frame 1 (Home) for a web site movie
Hello,
1. Probably this is very easy, but I have not found the way to stop the movie in the first frame that is my home page: frame one (1). When I hit a menu button it stop in the corresponding frame, but if I do not hit any button it goes on until it reaches the end frame. Please, can some body explain or give me a link to documentation or tutorial?
2.- I plan to make the content for each page in a separated fun file that I will export to .swf Then I will import in the main web site fun file all the content .swf files, one .swf for each page of the main file, in order to reduce the load time. Is this a correct approach?
3.- I have already one external .swf for the content of my first page. In both fun files: the site and content of page 1 I have Export Setting - Html file - Movie Loops unchecked, but the imported .swf is still looping in the preview in web browser, inside the corresponding website page of my fun website where it was imported. How can I stop the loop of an imported swf?
I do not know If I explained myself properly.
Thanks for your help
regards

Resolved, was really easy :"> I need to study more :)
:"> I am sorry, but number 1 was really easy. Koolmoves is so complete and full of features that I overlooked the Stop:
In Movie Overview - Right click - Actions and Sounds - click on the + symbol and the 7th option from top to bottom is the Stop Movie action
Same for 3: in the last frame of each imported .swf it is necessary a Stop Movie action like explained before.
I realized this thanks to the nice reply on Sunday from Mr. Bret Lanius that pointed me to the examples of http://www.koolexchange.com/ on my other post.
Thank you very much

That web bloke
Just a note, it is good practice to copy frame 1 to create frame 2, and put the stop() on frame 2, this is because occassionally flash will miss your stop if it is on frame 1.
