Moving multiple objects along a path

hey guys, I have a great idea but lack the flash skills to do it in. (Its been over 5 years since I last did any flash development and well I now suck )

I would like to have multiple objects rotate around a path.

The idea is I can show 9 products that are currently on offer, show the image and the text and depending where the mouse is on the flash file it will rotate all the objects around the path.

Also jsut to make things a bit more complicated the path is a "squashed circle" so the objects have to resize and change their z-positioning depending where on the path they are.


Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Click on the menu at the bottom. Sadly I have been searching on google for most of the day but All I keep finding is how to rotate an object flat on the screen not with the z-levels shown on that menu.

that means bad search terms. try with 3d carousel flash I'm pretty sure there are lots of results.

have a look in the movie section here at flashkit and search for tags like apple, rotation, menu,...

but personally I find these kind of menus very uninspiring
