Total Universe Mod
The one fighter
So a discussion the other day led us to planning out the ultimate fighting game. Not so much the best game but the most epic plot.
The idea is that the characters would be selected from a list of every hero ever referred to as "the one". The hard part is coming up with each special move.
So who would you pick and what is their special?
I'd probably pick Jet Lee from "The One". His special would be to temporarily summon every copy of himself to stomp my opponent into a red puddle.

You can't pick jet lee solely on the basis of that movie "Unleashed". That being said, I'd pick Steve Oedekerk in his epic role as "The Chosen One" in Kung Pow! Enter the Fist. Of course, his special move would be to use his squirrel chucks to flay your body into a thousand pieces. Of course.

How is that? Was his character some anti-the-one that cancels out his other role?

He has risen!
are there limitations within your criteria? Does it have to be movies? Vid games? real life? WWE? UFC? Boxing?

Has to have been referred to as the "The One" or "The Chosen One". Any source will do.

Donnie Yen - Iron Monkey - he was erroneously referred to as "the one" by the guards thinking he was Iron Monkey (Yu Rongguang)... or so I remember.
I would have said Anakin Skywalker, but that "NOOOoooooo" just really screwed up his chances with me. And I was the Darth Vader fan... at least I still have Megatron.

That was my friends choice too. What about a special move?

Special move? He kicks the hell out of people real fast... that works for me.
Oddly enough, I'm watching "Dragon Tiger Gate" as I type this... he's in it. Dude kicked one dude out through two walls and "wind pushed" two others down a hall. But wrong movie and no mention of being "the one" yet. Seriously... if it weren't for that, I'd personally have said Sonny Chiba for "The Streetfighter" and when he was Conquer (I'm going to name my child that one damn day) in "The Storm Riders"... guess I like the evil ones better.

jAQUAN, no, he doesn't get some anti "the One" status in that movie, he still beats everyone up and saves himself. But, if you saw it, you'd consider never again liking jet lee. Not really, he's still awesome and most of his movies are too, but that one, oh man, big stinker. Possibly one of the worst movies I'd ever seen too.

I've seen everything he's ever done.

His old training videos where he trains in trees and does like 1000 sit-ups while hanging from a branch by a rope tied around his ankles are crazy. Or the competitions he did when he was younger were brutal. He's a pretty bad dude, I just don't know how he'd fare against squirrel-chucks
