Did you not read what I said?

We are aware that it's obnoxious on the high res monitors. I was stating that you must still accommodate for that. You can't tell people: Uhh, make your window smaller so it looks alright.

Yes, you CAN use javascript to resize the background, but that's not what you want to do. Read my response again. I gave you a way to do it.

I got what you said, but then that's just the background.
The whole website cannot be made tailored to all resolutions (especially since I don't HAVE a higher resolution than 1024x768)
I'm wondering how to just magnify the whole page depending on the resolution. Is there anyway to do that?

I think you are completely missing the point.

Just look at other websites. How do they tailor to multiple resolutions? It's just a matter of observing other peoples' work. No real website out there is tailored for one specific size. It may be optimized for a certain size, but it doesn't look horrible at anything larger.

And no, there is no way that you can just magnify the page to see it in different resolutions, but you don't need to do that. If you make a fluid layout, it's going to work at any size and you don't need to test it.

It's honestly just a matter of looking at other peoples' work. Study what they are doing.
