[Pimp AS3] Can you Catch a Mouse?
Can you Catch a Mouse?
(aka the reason I haven't slept in a week)
Fun little physics mini game for Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions, by us errors, entirely in that new fangled Actionscript 3.
It uses the utterly superb Box2D library, and has featured the brilliant help of fellow Fkers _Ric and flashIsland, who I can't thank enough.

....he's amazing!!!
Brilliant game.
difficult though, is there more levels?
Only disappointment was I though it was gonna have some of that asynchronious cooperative gameplay that's gonna be all the rage soon.

The blocks are pretty tough to grab I kept missing atleast half the time. I think you should try to make the whole area of the buttons draggable.
Other than that it's pretty fun. Is there only one level?

Hype over content...
Nice presentation ( As ever ), but far too much for my little brain to cope with ( I got a couple of arrows down to the 3rd platform, but that was me spent ).
Box2D is the daddy isn't it, new version should be out in the next week or so, which will have even better collision detection for fast moving objects. Sweet.
Squize.

and yes Box2D is ruddy God send. The performace already has my jaw on the floor on times. The game does actually have the ability add springs and speed up blocks too, but the play dynamic got confusing so we disabled them. And it does have levels too, but they are disabled internally as well. Maybe for a v2.0........

I think it's a great game, but it's begging for levels. Surely you can't let go of a game with such promise but so little content...
Only negatives were the buttons (make the whole box clickable rather than just the image inside them), and dragging items onto the stage was decieving because the image representing the object is much smaller than the block that appears in its place when you let go of the mouse... I hope that made sense :S
