    Macro shots!

I've been playing a bit with my Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro this weekend and thought I should share some shots with you! No post-processing has been done, except on #4 and #6 where the contrast (and exposure on #6) is slightly adjusted. Any comments are welcome!

(I hope it's not too boring with all these nature photos. I'll post some other stuff another time)

I found this feather lying in the grass.

Shot with the 70-200 mm IS f/4L

Thanks alot azphotoguy! I don't know what the bug on #1 is, but I think it's some kind of fly.

I am digging your shots too!!
Love 4 and 7 but all the rest is awesome and not boring at all...perhaps the black borders a tad thinner to make it look more elegant?

Thanks for the comments! Frex: I made the border on the last image a bit thinner. It's not the picture where it's most obvious, but I think it became a bit better!?

Wonderful shots! For me, the depth of field is so short that the abrupt change in focus makes these images almost unreal. With this, the objectification of water droplets, fly legs, and flower stamens almost escape me. I'm left with raw compositions of organic color and shape, both of which I find particularly appealing. I'd love to see more of these from you, perhaps with an even narrower depth of field if possible, or even an unexpected point of focus, almost completely abstracting anything identifiable in your image.
