This old bench has seen a few hind ends. I was going through some older shots and came across this one. I know it is chopped, it is the only shot that I had of this. Thoughts??

Looks like he hung himself after he could not sit on it anymore
Nice colors and sharpness...I would prefer it from a different angle (crouched) and maybe some (shallow) DOF in it...
...but if this is the only shot you have it's Ok for me

I think it is a good shot!
I might would have removed the rope and try to take a photo from a bit different angle, as frex suggests! Maybe you could try to experience with some b/w too? Old objects (and especially with the contour in this bench) can look really nice in b/w.

I agree with all the above, and thanks Magnus. This is one of those snaps taken while heading to a location of where I wanted to shoot. It is oftentimes that those shots are the ones that we need to take more time with, because, afterall, they caught our eye for a reason. It is the only shot that I have of it and I will not be able to get to it again as the ranch has been sold. Oh well !
