Kayaking
My moms bought each other kayaks for Christmas last year. I were to go out with them we would always have to borrow one from a friend. But someone was selling a used one for $250 a couple weeks back so they bought it as a spare. So now I have my very own little yellow kayak.
Now I just have to invest in a nice Pelican case for my camera

I didn't buy the kayak and pelican case for my camera is like $50 and that is worth it for me to have my camera with me out on the lake or river to capture that one shot that might make me $1000
Also I am complaining about money because I am human and want more then I can afford. But I really am starting to save and split my checks with at least half going into savings for London every week. Also my policy with my photo money is that I can only spend money I make with my photography back into photography gear or into savings.

Yeah plus it came with a really nice life jacket, paddle, and top cover for when not in use.

My Dad loves his. He's been fishing in rivers and lakes for years.
He enjoys the manuverability of getting into nooks that would be inaccessible with larger watercrafts.

Anyone here have a water safe case for electronic equipment? Specifically something that could hold my 20D with the 70-200 lens attached and maybe my wide angle in there as well...
for under $100...

I just can't figure out how a sea horse uses a 20D. They don't have opposable thumbs or anything...

you can buy dry bags to keep your gear dry. I don't think i've ever seen a hard case dry bag (at least one that could be fit into a kayak)
But, if you wanted protection, you could buy a dry bag to put your cam in and then buy a plastic (tupperware) case that you can put the dry bag in.
