So what are you all watching these days? I seem to just keep rewatching movies I have already seen a ton before I need something NEW. You all know my taste.

had the chance to finally sit down and watch akira last night start to finish. it left me with so many questions.

Haven't watched many films lately. Saw A Scanner Darkly which was weird but excellent. Sort of looks like GTA the way they've coloured it in with the heavy lines. Oh and seen Forbidden Kingdom. Kind of disappointing but entertaining nonetheless.

That's what I remember feeling.
There's a 2 second Robot Chicken bit that will sometimes play in between two skits. It shows Akira standing next to his bike on stage at a concert hall singing "Tetsuuuooooo!"
Fk'ing cracked me up immediately when I saw that.

i dont know where he got the laser.. or why its the only thing that seemed to hit tetsuo.. and his name kaneda.. sounds like canada.. canada enrages me.
creepy kids. just so many questions.. why did they rip the girls shirt and then punch her in the face, straight jab.. right to the face. how old are they to be riding motorcycles

never heard of it. my list of anime movies is pretty short. fist of the red star, ninja scroll, ghost in a shell. soon as i get some cash im really going to need to get copies of those.

cowboy beebop is the best 24 episodes of anime ever.
FLCL is about the most artistic.
My favorite old school anime series is bubblegum crisis.

Now we're going off topic but for an anime series check out Death Note. Not the dubbed one as it's lost every subtle touch that made the original great.

Get away from this damn anime...
Just finished 21 with Kevin Spacey. It was a pretty decent movie nothing too amazing but it kept my attention 7-8/10
