good looking firefighter websites?
i have to build a website for my fire department and was looking for some inspiration, but everything i have found so far looks just ugly.....does anyone knows about a decent looking firefighter website?

just set the new standard.
most fire departments will be "boring" due to necessity of information and what they do... they're typically in the mind where in an emergency, no time to be delighted by insane graphics.

I can see the fugly webdesigns in my head, with a huge firefighter shield on the top, with a banner behind it shaped like a helmet seen from the front. The main content column would be red at the top, and the background of the site would be white. It would be extremely Web 2.0 and AJAXy.
Not sure what content you would have there though.

so informational websites do have to look boring...thanks god that FI and 2A are just doing those flashy bling bling sites
