    Which one is better? (why)

I have a site I just finished below. I wanted to know if it loads too slow and perhaps how it works in general. It loads in 4.5 secs. on my server.

Here's the one I'm presently using:

Hmmm.... I would say the present one is more functional, although you really need some pixel fonts in there, it was WAY to hard to read ANY of the text on both sites.
The navigation on both need different fonts, and i think the second site's nav bar is far too busy and reminds me much of the National Geographic for some reason.

Try losing some excess content to make the site load faster, I am using cable and it took me a good 20 seconds to get up and running, i am sure most people would just shut the browser after 10 seconds these days.

Other than that, it looks great and the transitions between different selections is also quite nice.

Since you asked, I'd say the angelfire's webby loads faster, presents broader, and is snappier and happier.

But don't get me wrong, both were really good, so thumbs up on the effort.

Loading for the first site took about 12secs. Loading from the angelfire's site took less that half of that time.

I really enjoyed clicking on the links and viewing the wave-like motions. Wow, I'm swished.
