Nice little set. I really like the first one the best.

He has risen!
i don't think i've ever seen such a mish mash of colors on a cat. looks like it was made up of 16 different ones.
what possessed you to take a butchers cleaver outside and slam it into a post?

Remotely Driven
The flower looked grumpy. The wall socket looked grumpy. Even the cat looked grumpy. Nice!
The knife was on the borders of grumpyland though.
Anyway, the sun behaved like it was in your favour that day! Nice time to pix! Excellent shots!

Long story short - I used to be a chef, a friend called and asked would I go help him for 3 months run his pub, I found my knives and chef gear to take with me, I was sharpening my knifes and though ohhhhh! that would make a great picy
I did also do these images, but they didn't turn out as well as expected.

Nice little update. I am digging the landscape the most of them. How are you liking the 70-200? It's not the IS version is it?

@frex yeah it is a belt driven machine.
@WannaBE you'll gonna love some of the image I am taking tomorrow then! going for a hike with a few of the locals. I have also found a waterfall, about 20 miles away from where I am and I am gonna try to get to it next week and do some shots.
The lens if fine, was looking at the x2 extender today as you suggested so may pick that up next week and no its not the IS version.
I just purchased a CANON EOS 1000F AUTO FOCUS SLR camera off of eBay today, can't wait to have a play with that. (Bargain at under £10, I love auctions lol)

Nice shots. How fast did you take the pano? Looks like the clouds were moving fast? I am guessing you did it manually- but have you tried photomerge in photoshop? It is actually pretty decent.
Also for landscapes and just wider stuff while overseas I am looking at picking up either the Canon 10-22 or the Sigma 12-24. We'll see how my show coming up in 2 weeks does and if I get it or not
Anyone ever use both? Is the 2mm difference of the Canon really that much wider?

The shots were only a few seconds between each shot, not checked out photomerge yet! what version is that on and where can I find it?

File>Automate>Photomerge.
I think it has been around since CS1(or earlier?) but it is definitely in CS2 &3
