    preloader?

I have this preloader swf that loads another swf and plays it. When I test the movie in flash it loads the movie no problem and it loads the swf with sound. But when i embed it using dreamweaver, and preview it. It loads the swf and plays it but doesn't produce sound

check it out for yourself here:

You should be streaming the FLV files... Makes it simple and higher resolution for your site visitors.

It's probably why you're having sound issues. If you need good examples of flash FLV players, check out www.flashden.net

Can you send me the FLV? Are you using flash 8 or CS3? Also, how are you importing the FLV?

If you're looking to get the FLV to stream, you'll need to be suer your hosted server sees the FLV....

    Let me know.

You should upgrade to CS3... At the very lease downlod the trial from adobe's site. Then import the FLV and it will step you throught the process for creating an player - it's all automatic and very easy.

Also, your FLV has no sound?

I wasn't getting any sound with the zoom player. Try downloading Flash SC3 from adobe and import the flv using the wizard. That should solve any and all problems you're having...

Let me know how that works for you.
