A little /too/ absorbant
Paper towel manufacturers are always touting their brand to be the "most absorbant ever," however I think they are now too absorbant. When cleaning something I can't really use a damp cloth on (environmentally friendly), I always spray the paper towel with cleaner first, then clean the item (recommended way to clean monitors, etc). Recently I've noticed that I have to spray multiple times just to get it damp because the paper towel is absorbing the cleaner.
Anyone else?

It also only takes about 2 sheets to explode and clog a toilet.
No, I wasn't using paper towels to do the duty of toilet paper! Just cleaning something and threw them in there without thinking about it.

I use a 3M microfiber cloth. Works great for anything with a display on it.

i have one of those on my golf bag. It's gone through tons of abuse over the 4 years I've had teh thing, and it looks brand new (and has never been washed). Best $20 i've ever spent on a towel.

This a bit like the tupperware thread.

Rather than go for the branded towels, buy the shops own brand crap. They couldn't absorb the sweat from your brow.

and yet the package says you're supposed to wash it. I've yet to do that also.
What exactly needs a clean screen in your golf bag? You sure it's not just a plastic grocery bag full of wii-motes?
