I don't even get the Buffy thing...all these geekboys in love with Sarah Michelle Fugly...she is a mega-skank dude. I never understood the attraction to her. She looks like half the wannabe hot chicks on the #2 subway line in NYC.

i stand by the fact that its a good show, and fun to watch.
nothing anyone says can change that. If you havnt seen it at least watch a few of the middle season episodes, the 1st season is very color by number, up untill the last couple of episodes.

Buffy was awful and the weirdest people were obsessed with it. And I agree that she is ugly.
They should of stopped with the movie.

you cant really compare the movie to the show.
the show is so much deeper then the movie could have ever wished to have been.

Funny, I used to make fun of the Buffy fan-boys too - I actually had to sit down and watch a few episodes before why they liked it started to sink in. The wife still gives me grief for watching it when she catches me. 
Just recently saw a few episodes of Firefly - made by the same guys, right? Very similar humor and dialogue.
