    Our media is so f-d up in priority. The more i see 'breaking news' like this, the more i want to just turn EVERYTHING off. Everything.

    It's called sensationalism... calling it media pimping just doesn't roll off the tongue the same.

    I'd ****ing pay to see Dan Rather pimped the hell out though with Katie Couric as one of his *****es.

    It's breaking news, not the main headline. Breaking news is defined by the latest thing to happen and not whether it is of major importance. I think it's a crap story but it's not the news' organisations fault that it's the latest thing to come from Associated Press.
