PNC Virtual Wallet uses Flash
I noticed that PNC banks Virtual Wallet application is entirely Flash 9. Is not Flash notorious for being unsecure? Should PNC customers being concerned that their data may be compromised within this vulnerable environment?

I havent really looked into this site much, but as long as their server side is all secure there shouldnt be any problems.

Flash is very insecure. There's no way around it.
Are you sure the actual application is built in Flash? Poking around that site, Flash is only used as an eye catcher. There is no login or anything in Flash. That is taken care of on another page that isn't Flash.
I don't have an account at PNC, so I can't dig in to check further, but my guess is that the actual application is not Flash.

Yes, UI(flash) and data layer(server) are seperate. So it should be secure.

Awesome flash work for a bank huh?.. I usually see that level of work only coming out of a Nike or Coke site....
I live in pgh and bank at PNC will have to let you know how it is once I sign up for that account... looks cool.
I'm sure it's secure, it's a big bank.
