eggs don't need to be kept in the fridge.... they're just on shelves in the shops..... over here at least.
i do tend to keep eggs in the fridge, but mainly because that's just the most convenient way to store them!

My ex's roommates used to keep them out on the counter. They were Scandinavian. Even if you're getting them fresh from the farm...ew. No. Do European fridges even have egg holders in them?
They also kept pine nuts around, even though she was deathly allergic to them. Strange folks.
Dairy gets refrigerated. End of story.

yeah, there is an egg holder in my fridge, that's the reason i tend to keep them in there.
i guess it must be a european thing (keeping them on counter)....

Not inherently Euro only. I've seen that in North Japan as well, but their consumption and usage of a half dozen eggs was usually pretty darn quick.

Yes, I still manage to cook breakfast for the family every Sunday.....some things are just too important.
