I don't see how the NIH trumps the AMA. Their observation is that obesity and HFCS consumption have risen together. It does not logically conclude that they are necessarily tied to each other. For instance, the amount of hours people spend watching tv and playing video games has also risen along with obesity. So, that could be as much or more of a factor than HFCS.

I think the bigger issue is that people are growing more and more willing to blame the results of their own poor decisions on others.

All of the agave nectar says "organic"... to me, it means it came from the ground and not chemically created. The other ****... means nada. Hype and Whole Foods aside, that is.
