    Question Import Video Frame-by-Frame?

    Hi,

I remember reading and successfully completing a tutorial on this site a long time ago where I was able to import a video frame-by-frame into Flash. The tutorial used a .mov file of the Quicktime logo and I was (and still am) using Flash 5. Now I have a video camera and was hoping to be able to import videos frame-by-frame into flash so I could animate on a layer over top of them.

I've been searching through the tutorials on this site to find the one I used in the past again, but I haven't been able to find it. Does anybody know where I can see it, or know of a technique to achieve what I'm talking about?

    Thanks!

I've just been looking through some of my old files and I found that sample movie I was talking about. It was a .mov, but I also found an image for every frame in the short clip.

I'm guessing that the video might have been broken into separate images and then imported into Flash as a sequence. Am I on the right track? If so, how do I break apart a video like that?

I think you can just import a video into any NLE of a decent standard and export the video as an image sequence.
