    [SHOW] Box2D, dancing clones of me

    This is my first Box2D application. Even the most simple boxes and joints take time to put together..

    I tried to make it "final look" but probably add more things now and then. If you have time you could learn the control keys to do funny/odd tricks even if its still quite hard. Turn on control/gravity and stand on your head for example.

    Now its just mostly for the eye but could be something playable later.

    kind regards
    Tomas

    Very neat and fun. It's pretty hard to control the dancer. A simple gameplay would be to draw a target to catch on the screen.

    One thing: It is in fact called BBoying, and not breakdancing.
    BBoy = Break Boy
    BGirl = Break Girl
    Needs an update...

    I don't want to be gender specific

    It can still be called breakdancing so you are in fact incorrect.

    ^Nope, as breakdancing is not the correct term. BBoying is the term given by Afrika Bambaata, first DJ in the Bronx. Breakdancing is just an ignorant media term since a journalist didn't know the actual name of the dance form.

    And now, don't say Im incorrect, as I am actually in the HipHop/BBoying scene, unlike you. I know my own history.

    Not that I'm from the scene, but I guess: IT'S ON!

    Be that as it may, because of that ignorant media coverage I can still call it breakdancing you mother!!!

    Its like the Netherlands always being refferef to as Holland. It's wrong but that's not going to stop people from calling it Holland.

    Actually it's The Netherlands, but hey, I even got it wrong in my own info

    Ontopic:
    I really like it, but it's kinda hard to control. At the moment it's more of a toy then a game too. Reminds me of a sumogame with stickfigures I found at Home of the Underdogs once The Fight of the Sumo-Hoppers .

    Actually, I am not incorrect in using the lower case starting letter for the definite article preceding the word Netherlands so there

    (interestingly, it would not make sense to assume I didn't know it was 'the' Netherlands as my sentence would then have started: "Its like Netherlands..." - ok I'm going waaaay off topic now )

    Only capitalize ‘the’ if it is part of the formal place name (The Bahamas and The Gambia vs. the Netherlands and the Philippines)
    Right, what was I saying?

    After messing around for WAY too long, I got the player doing the worm. Now thats classy.

    Cool physics, not sure how this could ever be a game though.. even though its kinda fun on its own.

    //Just to troll a bit, I'm pretty sure; b-boy or b-girl refers to a person who practices the hip-hop dance form commonly known as breakdancing or breaking.
