preview differs from browser player
Hi folks,
I've created a slideshow of sorts and it works perfectly in preview in the Flash environment, but as soon as I open the piece and view it in a browser, suddenly the images don't display in the same way that they should. This is irrespective of whether it's viewed across an internet connection or just from the local directory. Also doesn't matter if I'm viewing the .swf directly or viewing it in it's container HTML.
Can anyone speculate as to why this might happen? Is this a known problem that I can't find anywhere? I'm publishing the movie for player version 9.0.0.0, so it shouldn't be a version issue, unless 9.0.124.0 suddenly introduced some backwards-incompatability. And actually I just realized it will play correctly in the standalone player. Maybe it is something with the .124 player in my browsers??
I'm stumped. Super frustrated.
Many thanks.

OK, this is weird. I've tested the same movie on my Intel Macbook (Leopard) in Safari and Firefox and there are no problems at all. So it appears to only be a problem with my G5 running OS 10.4 (Tiger). Same Flash player versions but totally differnet behavior with the exact same file, even after clearing caches and even a system restart.
Also, it is fine in Windows on the v10 player.
Seems to be an issue limited to the 9.0.124 on the G5 under Tiger.
Anyone heard of any issues there?
