Stand Alone Streaming Video Player

Hi,

Not sure if this exists.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a player that I could add the "rtmp" address to and have the video stream to the player

basically its the same idea as Quicktime player. In that QT can be embeded or play the stream as a standalone

I am sure i could do this with flash but I need a solution that is can be deployed system wide.

Right now I am using Flowplayer and i have to embed that in a webpage.

Any ideas would be great

I have been looking and I can't find a single stand alone/desktop player that will accept a RTMP stream....am I right?
