    Wireless charging

CES 2009 is offering a bunch of new gadget as usual.
Wireless charging looks promising but I wonder what happen if you slip your hand under the ray.

I've been waiting for inductive charging for far too long.

No gadgets outside of the OQO 02+ got my attention this year.

If only battery could last longer. I understand that the cost-per-watt become higher when its smaller in size but I wonder if they are more advanced in fuel-cells and in kinetic recharge? Power consumption is getting lower and lower but still..

I agree. Battery tech is sorely behind. But 3.5 hours on a handheld is MORE than enough in my opinion. My fingers get tired after the first 30 minutes with some of those devices - I have an OQO 01+ already, and a Nokia N810.

Anyway, as it stands, nothing is really a "must buy" item from this year's CES in my opinion.
