    [complete]MouseHouse

our first game for portals (for Spil Group)

    http://kill5.com/games/mouseHouse/

It's just a skin of the photobox game me and _Ric made last year, but with some new levels and some lovely illustrations from Aaron MonsterSquid (www.monstersquid.com).

Had some oddness during dev with garbage collection (a first time for me), but solved it with Grant Skinners weird LocalConnection hack.

    Hope you all like it

Aaron has such a great style to his work, there's nothing on his site I don't love ( And want to use in a game ).

Nice work mate, I'm a big fan of the very minimal control system, and these games are always a good time waster.

Aarons work is awesome isnt it? Hoepfully me and him are going to be working on a few more games in the future. And when you come down this way again I'll show you his book, it's amazing.

And in regards to Chu Chu to it's quite a funny one. When we made the original photobox game, I though we could kind of base it around Chu Chu rocket, then when Spil group wanted a version, I thought "oh woulnd't it be cute with mice running around', not noticing entirely that I was now 100% ripping chi Chu off until someone else reminded me

Played similar games like this before... remember one on the old Commodor Amiga.... so, not a new game idea, but a fun game to play nevertheless.
