Movieclip to follow a path

I have decided i wanted to make a tower defense game. It'll be just like the ussual but my style. If its a success I will most likely make a sequel. I am really excited about making the tower defense game!!!

Ok here's the problem: every movieclip that is a bad guy i want to follow the path along a special route. how can I make this movieclip follow? I want to use actionscript to make it follow along because If I make a sequel I'll have more than just one level.

Is it possible to just make a bunch of lines into a movieclip then make it follow by putting in some script?

but hey! that could be possible! Just giving you ideas...

yeah one problem, i have seen tht tutorial before and I want to make it without the images? do you think it would work if i made a movieclip in the library and linkage it instead of using pictures?

Yeah, I think it will.
But try understandfing the code and writing it yourself so you can customize it yourself.
