    Space_bar_doesn't_work

    Ok-laptop-computer-keyboard-seems-to-have-a-malfunctioning-spacebar-sometimes-it-acts-up-and-starts-working-and-most-of-the-time-it-doesn't-do-anything-

    i've-even-pulled-the-plastic-spacebar-off-the-laptop-and-tried-to-push-on-the-little-plastic-piece-which-i-believe-operates-the-spacebar-but-to-no-avail-

    please-help-ugh-

    all-other-keys-work.

    don't-know-if-it's-because-i'm-not-putting-the-plastic-piece-back-on-correctly-or-if-it's-more-of-a-hardware-issue.

Have you ever spilled anything on your keyboard? You may have to remove the keyboard and clean the contact if you have.

I would start with warm, mildly soapy water, the clean the contacts off with rubbing alcohol. Whatever you end up using, just make sure if doesn't leave anything behind.

Maybe drop some alcohol down around the key, leave a minute, then blast with canned air?

i have the same laptop as you and had the same problem before. I went to the toshiba place to get my keyboard replaced and at first they said it was gonna be 54$, but turned out my keyboard was under warranty.

I dont think cleaning anything under your keyboard is gonna help tbh, just better off replacing it... use the link evpohovich gave u
