I have been using Firefox for years. I always loose the back button because it always changed to a reload button! No matter how many times I update the Firefox browser or default it so the back button shows again, it always go back to the reload! THIS IS ANNOYING!!

I'm using Windows XP with Firefox 2.0.0.14.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

Upgrade. That's Firefox 3.0.10 using the Kempelton 3.0.8 theme. I've never lost my back button, never confused it for a refresh (F5) button.

I upgraded Firefox and used the theme you suggested. Thanks!
I also upgraded and added on new web development tools.
However, there is one tool that shows up at the bottom of my Firefox browser. It has bubble buttons: All, Errors, Warnings, Messages, Clear, plus Code field and message field under it. I do not know the name of this, what it does, or how to turn it off. I have searched and can't find an enable on/off button. Do you know the name of this tool, what it does, and how to turn it off?
    Thanks again.

I did just find a way to make it show and hide at the bottom of the browser window.

Be happy that you solved your main problem. Compared between the two, I think you'd see that it's a much lesser problem.
