Web Design Pricing
I have been out of the Flash / Design industry for a while... and have an opportunity to put something together for a friend of mine an make a few extra $$ on the side.
Only thing is that I have no idea where to start for pricing. He wants a site similar to this: http://www.4wheelparts.com/
With a shopping cart, graphic design, SEO, etc.. obviously I would love to put it all together.
Any thoughts on current pricing for development with something like this? Would be basically starting from scratch as the current site is pretty bad.
Any advice would be great!

I'm not that hard to imitate. Just make some random negative claim at Apple or anything else for that matter and then have nothing to back it up.

I would low-ball the other guys by $50.
Sub the work out to India for $200, and then pocket the other cool $250 profit in my non-taxable bank account in Bimini.

How much beer do you drink?
e.g. 6 beers a day at $1 a beer + 1 McDonalds @ $5 = $11
Project takes 5 days - charge 5 * $11 = $55
Round it up to $60 for scope creep.

Seriously though. The stock photography appearing in sryder's footer link ( www.autouniversity.com ) deserves some kind of award. Writing on the wall... literally, the crazy service guy, the close-up of the pointing finger, someones high-school football photo. Brilliant.
Honorable mention to the soundtrack as well.
