    transparent box appearing around text

    I am using Flash CS4 and for some reason there is a light, transparent box appearing behind all of my text. I see this within the program and also when I publish. It does not appear to be the background or anything like that as I have tried changing the background png I am using and still see it. It is happening with static and dynamic text. See screenshot below. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
