    Thanks for the reply.. don't mean to be boring, just want to find out if it is going to be possible for XML to be used through Flash on the iPhone - according to your link I assume that this is true.

    Yeah, you'll be able to load XML from a remote server. You'll also have access to the local SQL database.

    Hmm? This isn't about the Adobe Flash Player being on the iPhone. This is about the AS3 compiler compiling down to a native iPhone app. No Flash Player required to run. It'll work the same as if you wrote your app in straight Obj-C with Xcode.

    So do I have to buy a new Mac? From the apple website:

    Technical Requirement:
    To develop with iPhone SDK you must have an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X Leopard.

    The first generation Intel-based Macintoshes were released in January 2006

    To develop with the iPhone SDK you have to have a mac, but I imagine you dont need a mac when creating an iPhone app in flash.

    The Flash development for iPhone can be done on either a PC or Apple - can ensure that much.
