Multiple Site Search Script?
I know this is technical, so sorry for the CL post, but i don't know where else to put this.
Just wondering if it's possible write a script that automatically searches multiple chosen sites for comparison shopping. The place i work does trade-ins on instruments and we constantly have to go to 5-10 sites to find a specific instruments price values; where if i could get a script that aggregated search results with images and pricing on one or 2 pages, we could really speed things up.
So in essence, we go to a private portal where an employee can type a model number into one search box and get results from ebay, musiciansfriend, froogle, and whatever else site comes down the pike....
Any idea on how to go about this?

I've moved the thread to scripting and backen and left a permanent link in CL
However I don't think you'll have to much success.
On ebay even professional users don't supply the model number. The musical supply industry (present company accepted) is the least organized industry out there.

Well, it doesn't have to be just model #, can be anything. And i'm completely aware at how hard it is to find certain instruments. Especially those that don't even include their own model on the physical instrument itself. Jackson is notorious for that.

If you ever need a data entry type guy to catalog/ build a bluebook for musical instruments and accessories hook me up. That would be the wiki and a half to build.
I'll work relatively cheap but I want free tickets to NAMM
