Web 4.3 is already planned...

Total Universe Mod
This is a good topic. I've found that keeping up with the iJoneses is overrated. I'm just not an early adopter in any sense. Most any new kind of tech be it mobile gaming or social networking goes through a "beta-deck" stage anyway. Tech should never be a new level of stress where it feels like some never ending to-do list. Fk the dumb ****. Pursue your interests and bide your free time as if the net didn't exist. When you have a need, google it or start a thread here. To be honest, that's probably my biggest draw to flashkit, there's always a few in the know who can bring me up to speed quickly rather than me dicking around with new services just so I can say I use them. Buzz is a good indicator that something is worth checking out. I only very recently started to use skype and twitter and both are in a business sense. If it doesn't directly benefit your real life, it's probably just noise.

I rarely feel like I'm missing out despite only really being well-versed in a few languages, familiar with quite a few more and always doing research. I rarely see compelling reasons to jump to the newest/latest/greatest simply because current technology is rarely pushed to its limits before the next iteration comes out.
But also... I have a lot of varied people that surround me... and that keeps me sorta in the know on a lot of technology I normally wouldn't touch.
As of late though, I did let the 3D world pass me by something fierce. Catching up is proving to be time-consuming, but I'm falling back in love with 3D again.

No longer a Flashkit mod, not even by stealth
Insanity is just a point of view. After all, the world looks pretty normal through your own underpants.
