Trying to make a line... textured...

    Hello all,

I wanted to make something like a spine, (Or like Alien's tail)

and I can curve lines real easy, so wondering if there's a way I could apply some kind of repeating texture, that has spaces (sharp points) missing,

But would still curve where the line did?

(Or ANY alternative, I love the logo I came up with, but don't feel like hand drawing the damn thing : )

Yes and no... you CAN texture a line but you can't then bend that line becasue the texture does not rotate with the line as it bends. try it and you will see.
Import a texture to Flash via the Import<Import Imnae function and then go to the Color pallete and switch the color from solid to Bitmap. It will work but you can not bend the line after that.
