which races were known to the audience? the only one i can remember was the borg, and thats because the borg was from that area, and after the Q encounter they begin to search for humans.

keep in mind that voyager was not the first ship to be taken the way that it was so in that respect its not highly unlikely that other known races might be out there stranded.

DS9 was just so.. boring. like the "Melrose place" of trek. almost everything happened at that station. oh jeeze the ferengi are trying to screw people out of money again Wha wha whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. snoozefest central.

Janeway diplomatic my arse, She burned many more bridges then she built.
She couldn't even get it right the first or second time. They had to fly back into the alpha quadrant at regular speed. She violated every federation regulation in the book and took the time-space continuum cop out.

I'd much rather see Kira and Ducat having a knock down drag out argument then Neelix and Tuvok.

i'm just waiting for burn notice to start up on the net. Although, first mid-season episodes are usually crap for burn notice.

Is it sad that I never seen not one episode of the Dollhouse?

Not sad, it's understandably not appealing on the surface but you are seriously missing out. It could be Whedons best work and Fox's biggest mistake.

Once it's done perhaps I'll watch it. I haven't seen a single episode either.

in regards to "getting closer" im really excited to see how Joss ties everything up in a nice little bow, given the two huge plot twists that just happened, my jaw literally hit the ground.

Please do, maybe the DVD sales will green light a movie like Firefly.

You all know there's an un-aired last episode to season 1 they never showed due to getting a second season right?

yeah, its on the season 1 dvd set. it was to have enough episodes to air overseas, sort of like a look into the future after the events of season 2

The latest episodes of Chuck have been really good. They have a way of making the episodes last a very long time, with lots of twists and turns all the time. You constantly think "ah, this is it, they solved the problem now" and then something happens and they have to deal with that problem as well. It's good to see that you can make a comedy, but have a nice story as well.

yes, I like house as well The difference is that with house you always know that the story is going to take a turn (or many), but you also know where it's going to end up. It's not like you are surprised that the patient gets cured; after 5 full seasons you know how they structure the episode. With Chuck that is not true.

I also started watching Dollhouse (after reading about it here), but I haven't come very far.

I feel like I'm the only person here that isn't into Star Trek.
