Who listens to public radio?
I used to be a big fan of public radio and regularly made donations to keep it alive. In recent years the program director at my local public radio station has made bad programming decisions. Promising if he could reach X amount of dollars he would keep the local based music programs alive. Everyone chipped in and the dollar values were met then he changed to the cheapest syndicated stuff he could and gave local dj's the axe.
Is public radio dead?
And if so why should the government support it?

NYC public radio is pretty great. I listen to it many many hours a day.

A lot different to how public radio broadcasters operate here, but to your question, nope, haven't been listening to the radio for a long while now.
