I LOVED Tiger Woods 08 (i think, maybe it was 07). The power boost drives, spinnable ball (mid flight) and putting system was a lot of fun...tad easy, but really fun. I believe i played 09 and they changed the whole scheme and it pissed me off so i stopped playing it.

Just you posting about TW makes me want to go out and buy a used copy of '10.

That's why I was asking if 11 was the new hot **** or if they just got a little better each game because a used copy of 10 is less then half the price.

I think '07 was the one I played and liked a lot. Hell if I can find a copy of that I might just get that one.

Iv got 2010 for the Wii, its fun but i hurt myself trying to swing to hard.

I played 09 on wii and it was fun and all but when I think of playing tiger woods I'm not in the state to want to be moving around other then my fingers.

birthday is coming up this friday but I'm going to be gone all weekend so I had lunch with the moms and got a 360

They went in with my sister on that Wal-Mart deal I was posting about.

Lego Harry Potter is pretty good (as are all the other Lego series) for kids.

Singularity: Meh.

Formula. Below average shooter.

Hate it when doors that you can open look exactly the same as doors you can't. Might cut my losses and skip hours of running up to doors to see if an "Open" option appears.

I'm playing through Dante's Inferno atm. Mindless hack and slash fun in the spirit of god of war. But it is NO god of war.

@wannabe If you are not the type of person who plays a game twice as long as it took to beat just to %100 the thing and get every achievement and buy at least one game every three months, get the gamefly account.

Well with games costing $60 a pop I wouldn't be buying them very often so I figure gamefly is perfect for me to test the waters of a bunch of games. I might opt for the 2 games at once so I have some options.

The arcade package came with Viva Pinata and Banjo Kazooie. There's a reason they came for free. Viva Pinata was like an acid trip with no pay off. I tried playing it just because it came with it but it was so boring I just turned it off.

Loving the HUGE library of game demos on LIVE though. I could just play demos and be pretty content for a while.

I played Dead Rising and SKATE3 last night.

Dead Rising was fun to just run around and hack and slash but I'm wandering what the full game is like other then run and hack and slash.

I loved SKATE and never got a chance to really play 2 but the 3 demo was fun(Jason Lee as your coach FRANK). Might have to be a used purchase as that's a good game to just zone out to and just goof around and kill time.

Yeah the XBL experience is killer. Be sure to turn on the option to finish downloads before powering off in the system settings. I like queuing up 3 or 4 demos and have them waiting for me next time I feel like goofing off. They also fill the gap between gamefly deliveries quite nicely. What's your gamer tag?

AK1200's song was the first thing that came to mind. Is that it, jAQUAN? The only other one I know of is Traveller's Tales logo, which is at least more in line with the theme of this thread.

Depends on what type of games you're into. But, these are my recommendations:

Mass Effect 2
Assassin's Creed
Oblivion
Fallout 3

That would keep you busy for about 6-8 months.
